What is it?
It's a practical tool designed to simplify and assist the film and television industry to implement and manage occupational health and safety in NSW, and is relevant to all film and television practitioners.  By law, employers are already required to provide a safe and healthy workplace for their workers and contractors. This system is a tool that employers can use to meet those obligations.

It's easy to use, lists all job functions for productions and is suitable for day to day use to maintain safe and secure production workplaces. One of its benefits is that it centrally locates OHS policies and regulations relevant to NSW productions, including links to relevant regulatory bodies such as the NSW WorkCover Authority.

Who can use it?
It is relevant for all professionals within the film and television industry.

The roles listed are aligned to the Screen Australia budget pro-forma and include: action vehicle crew, art department crew, camera crew, catering crew, chaperone, construction crew, costume crew, directors, cast and extras, grips crew, hairdressing crew, lighting crew, location manager, livestock crew, make up crew, OHS crew, producers, production accountants, production manager, sound crew, special effects and armory crew, stunts crew, transport managers, tuition and technical advisors, unit managers, visual effects and writers.
