SPAA Elects New President - Antony I. Ginnanne

The Australian Electoral Commission has advised the results of the ballot for SPAA President for 2008/09 and Antony I. Ginnane has been elected. Antony will take over the mantle from incumbent Trish Lake following the SPAA AGM on 25 September 2008.

Arts Minister Peter Garrett today announced the appointments of Professor Chris Puplick AM (Chair), Dr Deb Verhoeven (Deputy Chair), Professor Jill Matthews, Ms Grace Koch, Ms Catherine Robinson, Mr Andrew Pike OAM and Mr Philip Mortlock as members of the new Board of the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA), all until 30 June 2011.
