As CEO of Roadshow Films, Joel oversees the theatrical film distribution and acquisitions teams. Roadshow Films is Australia’s leading film distributor – distributing films in Australia and New Zealand on behalf of Warner Bros. Roadshow has distribution agreements with many of the leading independent film distribution companies including Lionsgate, The Weinstein Company and STX as well as many independent producers and sales agents. In 2014 Roadshow Films announced a new equity investment and strategic partnership with FilmNation Entertainment providing new growth opportunities and expanding the company’s presence in the global entertainment marketplace. 

Matthew Deaner is our Executive Director. Matthew sits across all aspects of Screen Producers Australia's advocacy work, industrial negotiations, events and operational issues. He also works closely with our Council to set the strategic direction of the organisation as well as identify and execute new business development opportunities.
