Stan offers unlimited access to thousands of hours of entertainment, with first-run exclusives, award-winning TV shows, classic catalogue, blockbuster movies and an exciting slate of kids content. Stan can be watched in full HD on your TV or favourite device, including tablet and smart phone.

Recently Stan confirmed that it will commission new Australian content specifically for its platform and has just announced development deals for Wolf Creek and Enemies of the State.

Get to know Stan, what their plans are, and how local producers may benefit as Stan Director of Content and Product, Nick Forward, joins Screen Producers Australia’s CEO Matt Deaner for an intimate and insightful Q&A.

About Nick Forward

Nick joined Stan (then StreamCo) as employee no. 3 in January 2014, tasked with building the content strategy for the still embryonic service. Nick looks after the Content Acquisition, Programming, Customer Service and Product Management teams at Stan, and with the announcement of development deals for Wolf Creek and Enemies of the State, recently added original productions to his list of responsibilities.

Having grown up in Melbourne, Nick spent more than a decade in London prior to joining Stan. Nick spent five years at Virgin Media in a variety of roles, including Editor in Chief for the business’s suite of content products, and, as Director of TV Product, managing the UK’s second largest Pay TV platform. Previously Nick worked in the Entertainment and Marketing divisions at BSkyB.
