Safe Workplace Training - National Live Stream
SPA is committed ensuring safe workplaces for all in the industry. To this end, SPA is holding training in Sydney and Melbourne on employer’s responsibilities in ensuring a safe workplace.
The seminars complement the SPA-MEAA consultation on draft policies relating to workplace bullying, investigations and discrimination and harassment.
The seminars will feature presentations by:
Kate Jenkins (Sex Discrimination Commissioner) will deliver a speech entitled Zero tolerance - The role of employers in preventing and effectively responding to sexual harassment in the workplace
Menaka Cooke (Coach/Educator) will deliver practical training for employers on preventing and responding to sexual harassment.
Stephen Trew (Holding Redlich, Managing Partner, Sydney) will provide an outline on employers’ legal responsibilities to provide a safe workplace.
Fiona Cameron (Chief Operating Officer, Screen Australia) will outline how Screen Australia’s code of conduct will operate.
For those who cannot attend in person, the Sydney seminar on 31 January will be live streamed to those that register via firstname.lastname@example.org.
