Screen Producers Australia’s submission to the Productivity Commission, Intellectual Property Arrangements, Inquiry Report

In December 2016, the Productivity Commission released the Final Report of its inquiry into Australia’s Intellectual Property Arrangements. Our CEO, Matthew Deaner expressed outrage at the Commission’s recommendations, as an affront to the local creative industries and an attack on content owners.

Following consultation with our members and industry affiliates, Screen Producers Australia has submitted its recommendations to the Final Report, which can be downloaded here.

The Government is expected to respond formally to the Report in mid-2017.
